Runrig Live At Scone

To celebrate 2009, Year of Homecoming, we are delighted to announce Runrig's Scottish event of the year in the historic grounds of Scone Palace on Saturday 29th August. This continues their well travelled quest for live concerts in scenic and iconic outdoor locations.

The support acts for the day will include the Peatbog Faeries; Blair Douglas with his band, top Gaelic singer Kathleen McInnes; new kid on the Fife block, King Creosote; and the renowned piping sensation, Fred Morrison.

The Box Office for ticket collection from SEE Tickets and other ticket agencies will be open from 10am on Saturday 29th August at the main entrance to the arena.  No tickets from these agencies will be available for collection from Scone Palace itself.  Tickets will be on sale on the day from the Box Office at the arena from 10am. The Box Office will be open from 2pm until approx 7pm on Friday for collection of campsite tickets only but will also sell camping tickets and concert tickets.

A Campsite will be located next to the arena and will be available between 12 noon on Friday 28th August and 12 noon on Sunday 30th August. For further enquiries please contact SEE Tickets, or telephone 0871 220 0260.  There will be toilets, and washing facilities available on the campsite.

A frequent shuttle bus will operate between Mill Street, Perth and Scone Palace  from 1.30pm and will cost £3 return. Disabled patrons are advised to make alternative arrangements as the route from the bus to the arena is not suitable for wheel chair access.

 

There will be a Car Park available from 10am on the Saturday at a charge of £5 per car.

 

No food will be permitted into the arena unless for medical or dietery requirements.

Refreshments will be available to purchase in the 'Best of Scotland' food area on site. 

 

Scone Palace will be operating an Elderflower Presse and Smoothie Bar.  Please come and visit us!

 

A Perth Farmers’ Food Hall will offer concert goers a choice of the very best flavours that Perthshire and the surrounding areas have to offer, ranging from traditional stovies from Gloagburn Farm, burgers from Logiealmond Lamb and a spit roast from Hilton Wild Boar to Thomas Thomson’s strawberries and The Cookroom’s gluten free cakes and savouries.

 

No drinks will be permitted into the arena except 500ml sealed bottles of water.
