Filming at Scone Palace

Scone Palace is located on the A93, on the outskirts of Perth. It is 45 miles from Edinburgh, 60 from Glasgow and easily accessible by road with the M90 only five miles away. Perth provides frequent train services to Edinburgh and Glasgow and other destinations. Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are both approximately an hour’s drive away and the smaller airport of Dundee is just a 30 minute drive away. The Palace has helicopter landing space by prior appointment.

Scone Palace and Estate

Scone Palace is built in the style of a grand Georgian gothic house and is set in beautiful woodland gardens with borders, flowering shrubs and trees.  Scone Estates comprises of 33,000 acres with the River Tay flowing through the heart of farmlands, woodlands and hills.
