Palace and Pistons is back for 2027!
We are delighted to welcome car enthusiasts back to Scone Palace for another day of cars, coffee and conversations. Bring along your own car and join fellow enthusiasts for a relaxed get-together, set against the stunning backdrop of the Palace.
Arrive through the main gates and take the opportunity to photograph your car in front of the Palace before joining the display. With cars gathered on the gravel in front of the Palace and along Lime Tree Avenue, there couldn't be a more spectacular setting to spend a day enjoying the cars and meeting the people behind them. Take a wander among the cars, chat with other owners, share your passion for motoring and, of course, take plenty of photographs.
There's plenty to enjoy behind the cars too. Stop by our Coffee Shop for a coffee and a scone or take some time to browse our shop during your visit.
This event is raising funds to support the restoration of the Palace’s original family horse-drawn carriage, which will be available to view on the day.
Entry Fee
£5 per car (car owners only).
No pre- booking required, pay on arrival.
Arrival & Parking
Cars should enter via the main gate and park as directed on the gravel forecourt and along Lime Tree Avenue for display while drivers enjoy refreshments.
Every car that attends Palace & Pistons helps fund the restoration of the historic carriage that was found in the stable block at Scone Palace.
