The Gardens, Coffee Shop and Food Shop will remain open until 16th December (Thursday - Saturday, 10am - 3pm) and then re-open on Thursday 1st February 2024.
Please note that the Palace is closed for the winter from 1st November 2023 to 28th March 2024, reopening on Friday 29th March 2024.
Summer 2024 Opening Times
The Palace will be open 7 days a week for the 2024 Summer season.

10am - 5.30pm (last entry to the Palace is at 4pm). Coffee Shop and Food Shop close at 4.30pm.

How To Get Here
Scone Palace is located in the heart of Perthshire, in central Scotland. It is very easy to get here using public transport and by car or cycling. Here you can find details on how to get to Scone Palace.

From Dundee, Edinburgh or Glasgow, follow the signs for the ‘A93 Braemar’. We are situated two miles north of Perth on the A93.

Stagecoach number 3 leaves from South Street, Perth and Stagecoach Strathtay number 58 leaves from Perth Bus Station or South Street, Perth. For more information visit Stagecoaches website: www.stagecoachbus.com.
Perth Rail Station is situated 3 miles from Scone Palace. For more information visit Scotrail's website https://www.scotrail.co.uk. Taxis are readily available for the 10-minute trip from the station to the Palace.
Scone Palace is a 40 minute drive from Edinburgh International Airport. Follow the signs for Perth (M90), and then for Scone Palace. The smaller airport of Dundee is 22 miles away. Scone Airport, which has facilities for light aircraft, is 10 minutes away.
Dogs on leads are welcome in our Old Kitchen and in our Shop, as well as through the Gardens and Grounds.
