The Scone Starlight Run is an atmospheric 5K and 10K night-time trail run, starting directly in front of Scone Palace. Runners will follow a specially lit route through the Palace grounds including through the maze, before circling back to finish at the Palace. The 5K consists of one lap while the 10K is two laps.
The idea is very much about the experience rather than simply being a race - running through the grounds after dark, with lighting along the route and the Palace providing the backdrop from start to finish.
This event is organised by Wee Run Events in partnership with Scone Palace, and is designed to appeal to both regular runners and people looking for a fun, accessible evening running event.
Spectators and cheerleaders are welcome - this is a family-friendly event.
